Today is 'Love your Pet Day'

How will you make today a special day for all our furry friends, whether they are, dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs or chinchilla? They all need our love and affection.

So many of our animal friends are being abandoned due to the financial crisis, with many rescue centres at breaking point.

I am so grateful to my pets because they bring me such happiness, they make me laugh, they give me a reason to get out and about, and I get to see such beautiful and stunning views such as those below taken at sunset on Gelligaer Common.

What will you do today to help those in need. I will donate towels, food and treats to my local rescue centre, not just today, but when I can.
